Trinity Health MI is seeking an Oncology Triage Nurse to support Radiation and Medical Oncology through telephone and electronic triage. You will assess needs, prioritize urgency, and coordinate appropriate interventions with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient safety, care coordination, and seamless communication across services, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based nursing within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids, ADN-hired nurses must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete the degree within four years of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
• One year of RN experience required. New graduates may apply through the RN Residency Program.
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.
• OCN certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient calls and electronic inquiries via MyChart/in-basket with timely, compassionate care.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate oncology care.
