Corewell Health is seeking a triage nurse for the outpatient adult hematology, medical oncology, and BMT departments in Grand Rapids. You will manage patient calls, critical labs, and secure messages in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Michigan RN license, and BLS certification with oncology-specific certifications preferred. Full-time, day shift, 36 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Michigan upon hire.
• BLS certificate within 90 days (AHA or ARC).
• Oncology/chemo-immunotherapy certification course within 1 year if in departments with chemo/immuno.
• OCN or other oncology cert preferred within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage nursing care for outpatient hematology, medical oncology, and BMT patients.
• Manage patient phone calls, critical labs, inbasket messages, and secure chat messages.
• Adhere to ANA nursing process and professional standards (ethical, culturally congruent care, collaboration, leadership).
