Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to act as the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals in the Knoxville, TN area. You will communicate the clinical and economic benefits of Amgen oncology products, addressing complex patient cases and payer considerations.

You will build and manage accounts, develop territory plans, and support patient access while aligning with corporate objectives. The role requires a strong oncology background, sales experience, and a passion for advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, delivering branded sales messages and programs
• Service and manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues
• Craft effective marketing strategies to drive sales
• Analyze sales activities and territory performance with the District Manager
• Maintain passion for products while building the brand and serving patients
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn continuously
