Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as the primary clinical contact for medical professionals in the Knoxville, TN area. You will communicate clinical and economic product benefits and execute a comprehensive territory plan to meet sales targets.

You will leverage internal and external relationships to manage accounts, address access and reimbursement issues, and drive a strategic marketing approach across oncology portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact to provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, delivering branded sales messages and programs and achieving sales targets.
• Utilize relationships to service accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales and analyze territory performance.
