Job summary

Amgen Inc. seeks a Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as the primary clinical liaison to medical professionals in Knoxville, TN.

You will communicate the clinical and economic benefits of Amgen's oncology medicines, build relationships, and execute territory plans to achieve sales targets. The role also involves expanding product access, addressing reimbursement issues, and collaborating across teams, with a focus on delivering patient-centric outcomes and sustaining brand growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages and achieving sales targets
• Manage accounts, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain contracts
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to drive sales
• Analyze territory and sales activity to develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive professional growth
• Leverage oncology disease state knowledge to respond to changes and deliver results
