Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Oncology Specialist to act as the primary clinical knowledge liaison to medical professionals within a defined territory in the United States. The role focuses on delivering clinical and economic product benefits, building strong accounts, and executing territory plans to meet and exceed sales targets.

We value extensive oncology experience, strategic marketing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• OR Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded messages and achieving sales targets.
• Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access and resolving reimbursement issues.
• Craft an effective marketing strategy to aid in driving sales.
• Analyze business effectiveness of sales activities and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Maintain passion for our products and sustain that passion through the entire sales cycle.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow professionally.
