Mercy Health’s Oncology Services – St. Joseph Warren Hospital seeks a Clinical RN Lead to coordinate patient care on a designated unit, partnering with the Clinical Manager to promote excellence in practice and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staffing, safety, and interprofessional coordination to optimize resources and patient experience. Lead RN duties encompass mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a clinical resource and role model.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire (must obtain from approved source).
• Certifications required based on the unit(s) overseen (e.g., PALS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, ENPC, NB Certification).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care on a designated unit in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
• Use nursing process and clinical knowledge to coordinate care and optimize resources.
• Provide guidance, clinical support, and oversee unit operations in the absence of the unit leader.
• Engage in interprofessional collaborative practice to ensure care coordination and continuity.
