Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Clinical Unit Leader role on the St. Charles Hospital unit coordinates patient care in collaboration with the Clinical Manager, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional patient experience.

The Lead RN/Charge Nurse guides staff, mentors teammates, and supports interprofessional collaboration to sustain safety, efficiency, and service excellence across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of work or compact (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Certifications may be unit-specific (PALS, ACLS, etc.) as applicable

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care on a designated unit.
• Oversee staff in absence of the unit leader.
• Ensure environmental safety and infection control standards.
