Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, MI invites applications for Manager Nursing – St. Joseph Warren Hospital. This role supervises 24-hour operations, coordinates administrative and clinical activities, and partners with interdisciplinary teams to drive patient outcomes and high reliability.

The successful candidate will lead with compassion, mentor staff, meet unit KPIs, and implement strategic initiatives while upholding Mercy Health values of compassion, integrity and stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Nursing required.
• Masters of Science Nursing preferred.
• Master in Health Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily operational oversight, management, and clinical support to the health care team.
• Serves as a professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource.
• Responsible for personal and professional growth as well as fostering an environment where interdisciplinary team members can contribute to optimal patient outcomes and grow professionally.
• Responsible for modeling core cultural and safety behaviors to eliminate preventable harm and implement high reliability principles.
• Responsible for meeting productivity targets for assigned department.
• Responsible for implementation of strategic initiatives
• Supports the mission and vision of the organization.
• BSMH nurses are expected to practice and deliver care in accordance with the core concepts and intention of the BSMH Nursing Professional Practice Model.
