Job summary

Merck's Oncology Sales organization is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to engage customers, educate stakeholders, and drive sales in the Phoenix North territory. This is a field-based role requiring travel to visit customers and participate in national meetings.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography with the team.
• Collaborate with territory peers to understand practice structure and needs, building relationships and trust.
• Communicate a patient-centered rationale for our oncology products to key stakeholders and the broader oncology community.
• Understand cancer staging, possible treatment options, pathways, and guidelines associated with different tumors/diseases.
• Analyze and identify trends in a complex buying environment across multiple drug distribution channels (GPOs, wholesalers, specialty pharmacies).
• Develop and execute short- and long-term territory plans in collaboration with the Oncology Customer Team Leader.
