Job summary

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and updating individualized care plans, administering medications, preparing for procedures, and ensuring patient safety through effective communication and ongoing evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• At least 1 year RN experience.
• TX nursing license upon hire.
• CPR certification within 14 days of hire.
• Competence in RN I performance expectations or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and provide holistic nursing care.
• Develop, direct, and evaluate individualized care plans with patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Prepare patients for procedures and administer physician orders, ensuring safety protocols.
• Reassess patient responses, adjust care as needed, and coordinate with physicians.
• Communicate effectively during handoffs and provide thorough patient updates.
• Maintain a safe environment and contribute to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.
