UNC Health Care is seeking a new graduate RN for Oncology at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill. The role features a yearlong transition-to-practice program with unit-based orientation, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development.

Eligible candidates include final nursing students or grads within 12 months, with NC RN licensure before start. Position includes 36 hours/week, rotating days/nights and weekends, with relocation assistance options and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education Requirements: Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Responsabilités

• Education - Participates in identifying and meeting learning needs of self.
• Evaluation of Care - Identifies expected patient outcomes and collaborates with the team to revise plans of care.
• Implementation - Delivers nursing care for complex patients and prioritizes care according to patient needs.
