Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Certified Registered Technician-Oncology for a per diem role with rotating weekends and holidays. The position involves aseptic IV admixture, unit-dose preparation, and inventory management across OR/Endo/OB/Oncology.

Responsibilities include delivering meds to nursing units, labeling under pharmacist review, and maintaining equipment cleanliness. Requires MA registration, PTCB, and oncology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to read/write English at high school level.
• Must have passed the Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration exam and be registered with MA BoP.
• Must hold current PTCB certification and maintain CE hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing irrigation, IV admixtures and chemotherapy using aseptic technique.
• Handle unit dose, ADM refills, stock requisitions and inventory in OR/Endo/OB/Oncology.
• Deliver medications and supplies to nursing units; label medications under pharmacist check.
• Prepare pre-packaged medications in common quantities.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts; stock meds and supplies.
• Clean pharmacy equipment, utensils and work areas.
