Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Oncology for the Fall River, MA oncology unit. Per diem, day shift 7:00am–4:30pm, located in the Oncology department.

Role involves aseptic preparation and batching per USP797/800, purchasing supplies, and generating ADM reports. Requires Massachusetts registration as a Pharmacy Technician; PTCB certification within 18 months; 1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• PTCB Certification required within 18 months of hire.
• One year of related work experience required; three years preferred.
• Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or eligible for exemption with declaration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare products using aseptic techniques and batch medications following USP797/800 guidelines.
• Purchase supplies and medications and generate ADM reports with follow-up.
