Job summary

Onco360 Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor - Intake to lead patient communications, triage to internal departments, and manage incoming faxes and electronic prescriptions. You will set up patient profiles, create drug orders, and coordinate with prescribers to ensure timely refills.

The role requires knowledge of prescription data entry and pharmacy terminology, with a focus on accuracy, productivity, and staff coaching to meet service levels in a dynamic oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy Intake, Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Desired: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician, Specialty pharmacy experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises intake staff in a leadership role to maintain a positive working environment and reduces turnover.
• Creates patient profiles and processes orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes in a timely manner.
• Assists Manager in day-to-day pharmacy operations and implements new procedures for accurate dispensing of services.
• Develops and trains staff, conducts performance management and corrective actions.
• Monitors daily workflow and reports on activity to optimize service levels.
