Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed pharmacy technician.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician required; 4+ years pharmacy intake experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology.
• Advanced certification or degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises intake staff in a leadership role to maintain a positive working environment.
• Creates patient profiles and processes orders from electronic prescriptions and faxes.
• Assists Manager in day-to-day pharmacy operations and implementing new procedures.
• Recruits, selects, hires, orients, develops, and trains new associates.
• Manages daily activity and staffing to meet service levels and performance targets.
• Maintains compliance with state and federal laws and REMS programs.
