Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA certification or current SON student who completed basic rotations.
• CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• High school diploma required; some college or nursing education preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care: assist with admission, transfer and discharge, record vitals and basic measurements.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens as directed by RN/MD.
• Support patient care activities and respond to call lights promptly.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed around the unit.
• Assist with daily living activities and post-operative care under supervision.
