Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs and glucose measurements.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff and helps keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Prioritizes duties, manages unit workflow with the RN charge and coordinates with other departments.
• Responds to calls and communicates with staff, family, and patients with professional telephone etiquette.
