Qualifikationen

• CNA certification or currently enrolled in school of nursing.
• CPR certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).
• High school diploma required; one year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Direct Patient Care Activities: assists with admission, transfer, and discharge; takes and records vitals; measures intake/output; applies fetal monitor equipment; performs phlebotomy.
• Indirect Patient Care: maintains a safe environment; supports RN-facilitated care; prepares rooms and transports supplies.
• Clinical duties include newborn care, bed making, feeding assistance, and responding to patient call lights.
• Supports post-operative care, safety measures, and documentation of observations.
