Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. You will serve as a key liaison between referring providers, clinical teams, and new patients to ensure timely coordination of care and accurate onboarding.

You will manage referrals, verify insurance eligibility, collect patient information, and schedule appointments while maintaining high data integrity and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years patient access and/or referral management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PMS and EHR platforms helpful.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and insurance benefits verification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between referring providers, clinical teams, and new patients to ensure timely coordination of care.
• Manage full continuum of the new patient referral process and triage referrals by clinical urgency.
• Follow up with providers to obtain missing medical records and essential documentation.
• Collect and verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral data for seamless registration.
