Job summary

The Christ Hospital seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant II for Redbank Medical Oncology. This full-time day shift role supports physicians with exams, patient flow, and chart preparation in the EMR. Training, multi-site coordination, and clinical duties such as phlebotomy and EKGs are possible.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years MA experience, a vailable MA program graduate, and strong computer/communication skills. BLS certification is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree and/or Certified/Registered MA preferred; MA program graduate or relevant experience required.
• 2–5 years MA or similar experience preferred; work in various care settings advantageous.
• Excellent computer skills including Outlook and Excel; EMR and scheduling systems experience required.
• Strong verbal and social skills; willingness to travel to other offices as needed.
• BLS certification required; Certified/Registered MA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Maintain patient flow and document review of systems; update medical history and medications.
• Record patient information in the EMR and manage test results and referrals.
• Prepare charts for visits; coordinate information from outside facilities as needed.
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, EKGs, and other routine clinical duties.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with medical regulations.
