Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant with front-office responsibilities and clinical support in a busy clinic. You will back up physicians, manage patient flow, and assist with examinations while maintaining accurate EMR documentation.

Preferred candidates have 2–5 years MA experience, strong computer skills, and BLS certification. This role requires effective communication and the ability to travel to other offices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or MA certification preferred.
• 2 to 5 years MA or relevant experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR and scheduling systems skills required.
• Excellent verbal and social skills; ability to travel to other offices.
• Certified/Registered MA preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and check-in/out patients; pre-certifications as needed.
• Assist in examinations, maintain patient flow and EMR documentation.
• Operate EKG, cardiac monitors, and basic clinical duties as assigned.
• Prepare patient charts, obtain medical history and review medications.
• Maintain safe, clean exam rooms and order supplies.
