Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Certified IV Admixture Technician to join our Houston Willowbrook team. This full-time, on-site role supports a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends. Responsibilities include preparing medications under supervision, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with OSHA guidelines.

Level I–Senior options based on experience; requires IV skills and a pharmacy background. Competitive benefits and a supportive care environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level to three years experience in a pharmacy.
• Minimum three to five years experience in a pharmacy with I.V. skills.
• I.V. certification preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Pharmacy Board requirement recommended.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited program or community college based program recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparation of medication orders by compounding/admixture under physician supervision.
• Verifies patient information and physician authorization.
• Admixtures drugs as ordered by physician under supervision and per guidelines.
• Maintains temperature, logs, and protocol drug records.
• Assists with inventory control and labeling; basic data entry into department automation.
