Texas Oncology in Houston’s Willowbrook location is seeking a Certified IV Admixture Technician to join our team. This full-time role supports a fast-paced oncology clinic, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends.

Responsibilities include compounding, inventory control, and quality assurance within the admixture room under physician supervision. The ideal candidate will have IV preparation experience, relevant pharmacy certifications, and a strong commitment to patient safety and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; entry level to 3 years pharmacy experience.
• Three to five years of pharmacy experience with IV skills; IV certification preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician certificate or State Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision.
• Verify orders for completeness and proper physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered and maintain OSHA-compliant documentation.
• Maintain temperature logs and protocol drug records.
• Inventory control, labeling, billing, and data entry.
