Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to join our team in the North Texas region, including Plano. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with no weekends or major holidays.

The technician provides admixture and distribution support within a clinic admixture room or licensed pharmacy under supervision. The ideal candidate will have HS diploma, pharmacy tech certification preferred, and IV experience.

Qualifications

• IV admixture experience is preferred.
• IV sterile compounding experience is preferred.
• Entry‑level pharmacy experience acceptable for Level 1.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of medication orders by compounding under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient info and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered, accurately and timely, following guidelines.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes and unit conversions.
• Maintain inventory records and expiration dating.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the admixture area and pharmacy.
