Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician (IV Admixture) to join the Fort Worth Cancer Center team. This is a full-time, weekday position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

Level 2 or Sr will depend on candidate experience, with responsibilities including preparation of IV meds under physician supervision and strict adherence to safety and documentation protocols. Ideal candidates will have 3–7 years of IV pharmacy experience, HS diploma, and IV certification; oncology

Qualifications

• Pharmacy experience with IV admixture.
• I.V. certification preferred.
• Oncology familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs accurately under supervision and maintain OSHA guidelines.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes and convert between units.
• Maintain inventory and temperature logs; manage lot numbers and records.
