Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA is seeking an Oncology Infusion Referral Coordinator to handle referrals, preauthorizations, scheduling, and insurance verification as the primary contact for internal and external information requests.

The role initiates and monitors treatment authorizations and referrals, with support from a team dedicated to compassionate care. Temporary status eligible for benefits and potential conversion to permanent.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of experience with insurance referrals, authorizations and documentation.
• Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Oncology terminology; knowledge of medical coverage plans; bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate specialty patient referrals and preauthorizations.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance coverage.
• Serve as primary point of contact for information requests and provide general office support.
