Job summary

Community Memorial Health System in Ventura, CA is seeking a Clinical Manager for the Oncology Infusion Center. You will oversee patient care, staff scheduling, training, and unit operations to ensure high-quality, compliant nursing practice and efficient service.

The role requires CA RN license, BSN, and BLS, plus 3 years of related experience; preferred credentials include MSN, ACLS, CRNI, OCN. This leadership position offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current CA Registered Nurse License.
• Three (3) years of recent related experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Selects, schedules, assigns, and evaluates staff, adjusting hours and shifts as necessary to meet the needs of the unit and the patients.
• Coordinates orientation of new staff and assures that training and education needs of staff are met.
• Coordinates unit activities and the work assignments of staff members.
• Evaluates activities of department to ensure quality patient care, effective staff relations, and efficiency of service.
• Directs the nursing care of the Oncology Infusion Center.
• Observes nursing care and visits patients to ensure that nursing care is carried out as directed and care is delivered in accordance with physician instructions, regulations and standards of care.
• Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of unit policies, goals, and objectives.
• Participates in the development and modifications of unit programs and services.
• Develops, interprets and enforces department and institution policies.
• Participates in the development and monitoring of unit operational budget and productivity standards.
