County of Ventura is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor for the Oncology Infusion Center at Ventura County Medical Center/Santa Paula Hospital. The role oversees technical and clinical pharmacy operations in an infusion setting.

Ideal candidate has extensive oncology infusion experience, strong leadership, and expertise in inventory management. Open to experienced professionals with a hospital or outpatient background.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Five (5) years of pharmacist experience in inpatient, clinical, or oncology pharmacy practice.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Pharmacist license issued by the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a first line administrative, clinical and technical source for pharmacy personnel in oncology operations; oversees inventory, purchasing and quality control.
• Develops and enforces pharmacy policies and procedures; maintains unit dose systems and parenteral\nnutrition knowledge.
• Mentors staff, assists in budgeting, and participates in interdepartmental committees.
