Ventura County Health Care Agency seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to oversee the Oncology Infusion Center pharmacy operations, ensuring safe drug distribution, compounding, and dispensing. The role leads professional staff, enforces quality standards, and partners with nursing and medical teams to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate has extensive oncology pharmacy experience in hospital/outpatient settings, strong inventory control skills, and proven leadership.

Competenze

• Pharmaceutical degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Five (5) years of pharmacist experience in inpatient, clinical, or oncology pharmacy practice
• Must possess and maintain a valid Pharmacist license issued by the state of California
• Oncology infusion pharmacy experience preferred

Mansioni

• Oversees administrative, clinical and technical operations of the Oncology Infusion Center pharmacy services
• Develops quality assurance criteria for pharmacy services
• Monitors and evaluates quality of care provided by pharmacy services and reports results to leadership
• Supervises pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel
• Orients and trains new employees; assesses competencies and training needs
• Manages budgeting, purchasing and productivity planning
• Establishes and enforces pharmacy policies and procedures and regulatory compliance
• Coordinates inventory management and narcotics controls
• Participates in interdepartmental committees and staff development
