Job summary

Ventura County Health Care Agency seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor to lead the Oncology Infusion Center pharmacy services at Ventura County Medical Center and/or Santa Paula Hospital. You will oversee clinical operations, staff supervision, and quality assurance in a hospital outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has extensive oncology pharmacy experience, strong leadership, and expertise in inventory management, with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Pharmaceutical degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Five years of pharmacist experience in inpatient, clinical, or oncology pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

Supervise the technical and clinical operations of the Oncology Infusion Center pharmacy services.
Direct a staff of pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel.
Develop quality assurance criteria and monitor quality of care in pharmacy services.
Establish and enforce pharmacy policies, procedures, and security measures for controlled substances.
Oversee inventory, purchasing processes, and budget considerations for pharmacy operations.
