Merck is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist to drive engagement with healthcare providers in a defined territory. You will educate stakeholders on oncology products, collaborate with the oncology community, and strive to meet or exceed sales targets within your area.

You will work with the local team to understand practice structures, patient pathways, and opportunities to improve care. A strong background in pharmaceutical sales and oncology is preferred, with travel up to 25%.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Oncology or healthcare field experience strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of oncology field-based experience, selling an oncology therapeutic to oncology customers.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structures and business models.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for oncology products to customers.
• Understand tumor types, treatment options, pathways and clinical guidelines.
• Analyze trends in a complex buying environment across multiple distribution channels.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term plans with local team and district manager.
• Ask insightful questions to align product portfolio conversations with customer priorities.
