Job summary

Merck’s Oncology Sales organization seeks an Oncology Sales Representative to engage with customers, educate stakeholders, and drive sales goals in the Phoenix North, Arizona territory. This field-based role requires travel to visit customers and attend national meetings.

You will collaborate with the Oncology team to understand practice structures, develop relationships, and communicate value of our oncology portfolio to providers while supporting patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience.
• Equivalent experience can be professional sales experience or related healthcare field.
• Must have valid driver’s license and driving willingness.

Responsibilities

• Attain or exceed the assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structure.
• Communicate a patient-centered rationale for oncology products.
• Understand cancer staging, treatment options, and guidelines.
• Analyze trends in a complex buying environment and multi-channel distribution.
• Collaborate with local team to develop short- and long-term plans.
• Ask questions to understand customer priorities and needs.
• Ensure a consistent customer experience across divisions and teams.
