Job summary

NeoGenomics is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist to advance cancer diagnostics sales across a LA-focused territory. You will work as an overlay specialist, coordinating with Territory Business Managers and the Regional Director to identify opportunities, grow product adoption, and upsell within current oncology groups.

You'll engage hematologist/oncologists and related specialists, learn NeoGenomics products, and drive consultative sales in a fast-paced environment that values market feedback

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or business-related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of oncology sales in diagnostic or pharma (product and service) preferred.
• Strong closing skills. Prior attendance at formal sales training courses a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization.
• Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products.
• Ability to learn and retain product specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.
• Valid driver’s license for state of residence required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and promote NeoGenomics products, services, and policies to oncology customers.
• Meet or exceed annual sales/profit goals within the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with TBMs to engage Tier A–C accounts.
• Coordinate with KAMs and CSS to increase account value on key accounts.
• Gain access to oncology groups based on market understanding and needs.
• Promote molecular products through consultative selling in the territory.
• Identify new opportunities and upsell within existing oncology groups.
• Provide market feedback to the Regional Director.
• Maintain territory competitive intelligence and market data.
• Generate ideas to support territory profitability.
