Job summary

Georgetown University’s Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Research Nurse 1 for oncology trials. You will oversee trial coordination, consent, data collection, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure protocol integrity and patient safety.

You will work with investigators, CRCs, and clinical staff to manage the continuum of care, conduct study procedures, and support regulatory and sponsor requirements in a demanding clinical research environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the lifecycle of assigned clinical trials; support protocol screening and eligibility.
• Obtain informed consent and document data per protocol and GCP guidelines.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and assist in coordination across inpatient, outpatient, and home care.
• Contribute to CTMS data updates and liaise with sponsors, IRB, and auditors.
• Provide patient education on trials, treatment, side effects, and required testing.
• Schedule trainings and support staff on assigned trials.
