Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator for oncology trials within the Clinical Research Management Office (CRMO). You will oversee trial activities from initiation through completion, coordinate participant visits, and ensure protocol adherence and patient safety under GCP guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/health field and 3–5 years of clinical research experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or health-related field is required.
• 3–5 years of related clinical research experience preferred.
• Strong candidates work independently within a team, pay close attention to detail, and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the lifecycle of assigned oncology trials from start to close.
• Obtain and document informed consent per protocol and policy.
• Schedule study procedures and assessments while ensuring protocol integrity and patient safety.
• Triage phone calls and maintain proactive patient communication.
• Update CTMS with patient information and key dates for financial management of trials.
• Collaborate with Data Managers to ensure complete and accurate trial documentation.
