Job summary

Georgetown University Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Research Nurse 1 to coordinate oncology trials in the Lombardi Clinical Trials Office. You will work with investigators and senior staff to recruit participants, obtain consent, and manage data across the trial lifecycle.

The role requires a nursing background with 3–5 years of hospital experience, plus at least 1 year in clinical research and oncology experience preferred. On-campus position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, BLS certification, and RN license in the District of Columbia required.
• Three to five (3-5) years nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar health care setting required.
• At least one (1) year of clinical research experience preferred.
• At least one (1) year of oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical trials throughout the trial lifecycle.
• Recruit and screen study participants; document data and eligibility.
• Obtain informed consent per protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform study procedures with adherence to GCP and protocol.
• Support continuum of care across outpatient, inpatient, and home settings.
