Job summary

Georgetown University’s Center for Translational Transplant Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator I. You will execute protocol procedures, collect and manage data, and safeguard participant welfare under supervision.

Collaboration with PIs and MedStar Georgetown colleagues ensures trials meet GCP, IRB, and policy standards. Requirements include an active BSN and nursing license, 1+ year clinical trials exposure, and strong data/documentation skills.

Qualifications

• BSN with active nursing license.
• 2–7 years clinical nursing in hospital/clinic setting.
• RN scope incl. vital signs, ECG/EKG, injections.
• At least 1 year clinical trials experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, drug calculations, GCP.
• Detail oriented with proactive problem solving.
• Strong communication with staff and patients.
• Proficient in Office and health systems; willing to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Execute protocol-required visit procedures per trial.
• Collect, manage, and safeguard study data.
• Monitor safety, adverse events, and reporting.
• Lead informed consent process with participants.
• Prepare source docs and CRFs per ALCOA+ and timelines.
• Support regulatory submissions, audits, and delegation logs.
• Educate participants, families, and staff on protocols and products.
