Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Pharmacist to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients and support specialty services across hematology/oncology, urology, ophthalmology, and more.

You will participate in MTM, dosing recommendations, and safe preparation of chemotherapy, while collaborating with inpatient and outpatient teams. A valid Illinois pharmacist license is required and oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist in Illinois (IDFPR)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required
• Clinical work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care for oncology patients and optimize prescribing and monitoring
• Provide MTM services and patient education per pharmacy practice acts
• Attend hematology/oncology rounds and collaborate with oncology teams
• Oversee preparation of chemotherapy and ensure safe medication handling
• Support clinical trials and develop medication-related policies and safety initiatives
