Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN for the Radiation Oncology department at Morris Cancer Center. The role focuses on coordinating care, transitions, and patient coaching for high-risk patients within an integrated oncology program in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will hold an active NJ RN license, a current BLS, and 3–5 years of Oncology RN experience, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and ACLS; OCN/ONS certification is preferred and should be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification current.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; Master’s preferred.
• OCN/ONS certification in oncology is required or will be obtained within 6 months.
• Minimum 3–5 years of Oncology RN experience; direct patient care in ambulatory/inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and care plans across in-patient and out-patient settings.
• Facilitate transitions of care and patient education.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications and treatments.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support ongoing professional development and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
