RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator RN for the Melchiorre Cancer Center in Livingston, NJ. This salaried day-shift role combines direct oncology nursing care with clinical leadership to support patients, physicians, and nursing staff.

The ideal candidate has BSN, NJ RN license, and 3–5 years of oncology experience, with IV and chemotherapy certifications within six months. Join a team focused on quality, safety, and compassionate cancer care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Active RN license to practice in New Jersey.
BSN and current BCLS certification required.
IV and chemotherapy certifications within six months of employment.
Three to five years of oncology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide direct oncology nursing care with clinical leadership for assigned patients.
Coordinate daily nursing operations and supervise on-site clinical activities.
Develop and adjust nursing schedules based on patient volume and clinical needs.
Serve as a clinical resource to Cancer Center nurses, promoting teamwork and standards of care.
Evaluate nursing care quality using patient assessments and care plans.
Partner with leadership to identify learning needs and support nursing development.
Lead quality improvement activities by reviewing outcomes and trends.
Support changes in practice to improve safety and efficiency.
Monitor environment and supplies to maintain a safe care setting.
