Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit (MCC-8) at the Morris Cancer Center in New Brunswick, NJ. The role entails night shifts (7p–7:30a), working 24 hours per month including weekends/holidays, and requires an active NJ RN license with BSN.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Ideal candidates will have 1 year of RN hospital experience and may have oncology or BMTU certifications, with preferred 1–3 years of Oncology RN experience.

Qualifications

• BSN
• 1 Year of Registered Nurse experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the unit within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and ANA ethics.
• Maintain patient safety and advance knowledge through evidence-based practice and collaboration with care team.
• Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and coordinate with other care providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities with interventions aimed at measurable improvements.
