RWJBarnabas Health in Livingston, NJ, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator RN for the Melchiorre Cancer Center. You will combine hands-on oncology nursing with clinical leadership to support patients, physicians, and nursing staff, under the Assistant Director of Clinical Services.

This salaried day shift role blends direct patient care with leadership, coordinating schedules, enforcing standards, and driving quality improvements across the Cancer Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and active RN license in New Jersey.
• BSN and current BCLS certification required.
• IV and chemotherapy certifications within six months of employment.
• Three to five years of oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Strong oncology clinical expertise, communication and interpersonal skills, leadership, staffing and resource management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oncology nursing care with clinical responsibility for assigned patients and collaborate with Cancer Center physicians.
• Coordinate daily nursing operations and provide on-site clinical supervision to promote safe, efficient care.
• Develop and adjust nursing schedules based on patient volume and physician needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource to Cancer Center nurses and support standardization of care.
• Lead quality improvement efforts by reviewing outcomes and identifying improvement opportunities.
