Qualifications

• The Clinic Coordinator plays a critical role translating physician orders into action to coordinate patient care.
• Experience with hematology/oncology scheduling is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in appointment coordination and billing steps.

Responsibilities

• Registers check-in and check-outs of BCN patients, including insurance verification, HMS profile coordination, lab orders, copay handling, and software upkeep.
• Schedules chemotherapy, infusions, procedures, lab draws, office visits, dietary and education visits; reschedules no-shows.
• Coordinates physician, NP, and clinic schedules to maximize efficiency and meet patient care goals.
• Acts as central hub for dispersing physician orders and coordinating activities within BCN.
• Triages information and orders to internal BCN staff and external resources; manages patient charts.
