CentraCare Health in Willmar, MN invites a skilled RN to join the Rice Memorial Hospital Cancer Center as an RN Care Coordinator. The role supports direct/indirect patient care and teaching using the nursing process in an outpatient oncology setting.

The position involves patient education for chemotherapy, coordinating lab results and prescription refills, and triage duties to ensure seamless cancer care delivery. A strong communication and nursing assessment background is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• AED/CPR training required.
• Acquire Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) cert within 2 years of hire required. This must be maintained throughout employment in department.
• Minimum one year of experience in field preferred, not required.
• Communication/documentation skills.
• Nursing Assessment skills
• Comprehensive clinical nursing knowledge, personal management and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct/indirect patient care and teaching through the nursing process.
• Provide education for chemotherapy and coordinate lab results and prescription refills.
• Triage phone calls and other duties related to cancer patient care coordination.
