Job summary
Minnesota Oncology is hiring a registered nurse with oncology experience to provide professional nursing care under minimal supervision. You will assess patients, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support compliance and ethics within the US Oncology framework.
Responsibilities include coordinating care, assisting physicians, managing medication requests, and guiding patients through tests, procedures, and referrals. On-site role with strong growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must have RN license and BSN preferred.
- Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Continuing education requirements must be maintained.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and promote continuity of care.
- Assess health status by interviewing patients and reviewing history.
- Provide nursing care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and orders.
- Coordinate referrals, tests, and future appointments for patients.
- Mentor newer staff and participate in professional development.
