Minnesota Oncology is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care for oncology patients under minimal supervision, adhering to national and company standards. The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and high-quality patient care in an oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN state license and active registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Maintain continuing education requirements.
• Five years nursing experience and at least one year oncology experience.
• Oncology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status by interviewing patient and reviewing medical history.
• Collect and record nursing assessments and interventions.
• Coordinate tests, procedures and future appointments for patients.
• Provide teaching and psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with clinical team and mentor staff.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures and coordinate care across settings.
