Job summary

Highlands Oncology Group is seeking a Physician Scheduler to join our Northwest Arkansas clinic in Springdale. You will manage multiple physician schedules, greet patients, coordinate internal and external appointments, and ensure excellent customer service throughout the patient journey.

In this role, onsite work is required in a fast-paced oncology setting. Previous oncology experience is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills to support our multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in medical scheduling or healthcare setting a plus.
• Onsite work in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and reschedule physician appointments and coordinate labs/chemo blocks.
• Assist with patient intake, updates, and insurance information.
• Instruct patients on appointments and collect payments daily.
• Answer calls, screen messages, and triage inquiries.
• Maintain neat waiting areas and respond to emails promptly.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
