Job summary

The US Oncology Network is seeking an experienced Admixture / Compounding Pharmacy Technician for our Eastgate practice. The role involves preparing medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision, coordinating with treatment suite nurses to ensure best-in-class cancer care.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of IV pharmacy experience, with IV certification preferred but not required, and a recommended Certified Pharmacy Technician credential or state board eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a pharmacy with IV skills.
• IV certification preferred but not required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician or State Board requirement recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under physician supervision.
• Checks all orders for completeness and verifies patient information and physician authorization.
• Under direct supervision, admixes drugs and maintains OSHA and interoffice guidelines.
• Calculates dosage volumes and maintains accurate protocol drug logs and inventory.
