Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Check all orders for completeness and verify patient information and physician authorization.
• Admix drugs as ordered by a physician with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to guidelines.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes and conversions between metric and apothecary units.
• Assist in controlled substance record keeping per regulations.
• Maintain temperature logs and perform quality assurance activities.
• Manage inventory with proper documentation of lot numbers and expiration dating.
• Support medication use continuum including label prep and pre-billing review.
